It can be concluded that all foods containing salt, sugar, fat, oil, and caffeine are not good for the body. Especially if consumed at midnight. Thirst, flatulence, even insomnia are effects that you will most likely experience.

According to Dr. Resthie, there is no standard indication when the last dinner can be done. But medically, you are recommended to have dinner no later than three hours before going to bed.

"If you usually sleep at 10pm, then you should finish dinner before 7pm. This is important to provide an opportunity for the stomach and intestines to metabolize food properly, "he said.

Get used to not having dinner before your bedtime. If you are really hungry, try to consume healthy intake like fruits. Do not forget, take time to exercise regularly and avoid smoking so that the quality of sleep increases.
